The Best Headline. Ever

From the Jewish Telegraph July 19, 2014, via David Ha'ivri

"Their God changes the path of our Rockets in mid-air"

Yep. We know. (Though I suspect our engineers at the Technion  may also have something to do with it)

A Song of Ascents.

 I lift my eyes to the mountains, from where will my help come?
My help will come from Hashem, Maker of heaven and earth.
He will not let your foot falter;
Your Guardian does not slumber.
Behold, the Guardian of Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps.
Hashem is your guardian;
Hashem is your protective shadow at your right hand.
The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night.
Hashem will guard you from all evil;
He will guard your soul.
Hashem will guard your departure and your arrival from now and for all time

UPDATE:
A full copy of the paper, to dispel all doubt that this was photo-shopped

I saw this posted on FB but I can't find any solid proof that the actual picture hasn't been doctored. Do you happen to have a link to the article? I really want to share this with many people if I can find it. Thanks, Amanda

Thanks, Amanda. I also can not find a full text copy of the paper on line. As soon as I can, I'll post the link. I don't think it been altered, however because you can see still see the shadow of the person taking the photo.

The article text could be legit, with only the headline altered. As to the photographer's shadow, only a small part of it appears over the headline portion of the pic - and that part of the shadow looks suspiciously darker than the rest - leads me to think it was "airbrushed" in. Also - is the Jewish Telegraph known for placing a red line underneath their headlines? Requires further research.

Dusty, it's very easy to add the shadow effect to a picture. The skeptic in me says that it's doctored - gotta be.

I' ve emailed the paper to see if it's legit. And if someone out there has a print copy, can you scan it and email it to us? In the meanwhile, skepticism is always good.

THE VERY PROOF OF THESE MIRACLES YOU CAN FIND IN ISRAEL..THERE IS A VIDEO ON YOU TUBE..WHERE A REPORTER BECAME EYE WITNESS ON HOW MANY ISRAELIS HAVE FOR SOME REASON AVOIDED BEING KILLED AFTER HAVING THEIR HOUSES BOMBED BY THE TERRORISTS..IT'S EITHER THEY ARE NOT AT HOME OR HAVE JUST LEFT THE HOUSE A FEW MINUTES BEFORE THE EXPLOSION TOOK PLACE..BELIEVE IN YOUR GOD..He has not lost His love for you even when this generation has forgotten HIM..

Is it fake or a real comment from a different time? Which still would wrong, IMO

Its a real article and a real headline from a not very well crafted article. Is the quote recent? Who said this? Where can we find the original? Only the author knows.

YES, THE JEWISH TELEGRAPH SOMETIMES PUTS A RED
LINE UNDERNEATH WHEN THE ARTICLE IS PARTICULARLY
EXPLOSIVE.

I personally heard from a man that told me he actually watched this interview on tv (he said bbc). But I could not find this on the net yet.

The Author is Barbara Ordman. You can find this article online. It is real. The headline could be photoshopped but that statement IS what the article says verbatim. You can even see the quote in the photo in the paragraph just to the left of the word "mid" in the headline.

This is the link to the actual article. It was written by Barbara Ordman who is, according to ZoomInfo.com, 'A Contributor at Jewish Telegraph'. Jewish telegraph is a Regional Jewish Newspaper in Britain. It has been erroneously stated that this article was in the British Telegraph. It was not. http://www.jewishtelegraph.com/world_6.html This is the link to the Jewish Telegraph: http://www.jewishtelegraph.com/ Her article is in the 'World' section.
