13 year old Israeli girl murdered in her own bed.

Hallel Yaffa Ariel, a 13 year old  Israeli girl was stabbed to death by a Palestinian terrorist while asleep in her own bed.

Say her name: Hallel Yaffa Ariel

The assailant, identified as Muhammad Nasser Tarayrah, 17, was shot and killed.

The Palestinian media was filled with praise for the brutal attack.

The mother of the terrorist told a local news agency:

“My son is a hero. He made me proud. My son died as a martyr defending Jerusalem and the Al Aqsa Mosque. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds, he (my son) has joined the martyrs before him and he is not better than them. Allah willing , all of them wil lfollow this path, all the youth of Palestine”.

The official PA news agency WAFA also honored  Taraireh as a martyr.

Hallel is the 39th victim killed in the recent terror wave and the 5th in the month of Ramadan.  All the surviving attackers collect  checks from the Palestinian Authority, as do the families of what the PA calls the “martyrs” who die during their assaults.

“This morning a terrorist sneaked into the bedroom of a 13-year-old girl, Hallel-Yaffa Ariel. He murdered young Hallel in cold blood. A picture of her blood stained room is almost too hard to see. There’s a teddy bear still on her bed, a red beanbag chair, some pictures on the wall, shoes tightly packed in a bin next to her bunk bed.

“Why would any person do this?

“You don’t murder a sleeping child for peace. You don’t slit a little girl’s throat to protest a policy you don’t like.

“You do this because you’ve been brainwashed. You’ve been brainwashed by a warped ideology that teaches you that this child isn’t human.

“We will not let barbarism defeat humanity.

“There’s no middle ground between beautiful Hallel and her unspeakably evil murderer.

“Today, each of us is going to fight back.

“I ask you to walk into your child’s bedroom before they go to sleep. I ask you to hug them. I ask you to kiss them.

“Teach them that the values that Hallel’s murderer most detested – freedom, diversity, pluralism – will never die; we’ll always hold them dear. Tell them that we will never let fear, evil and terror triumph; that we will always stand for justice. And this is how we will fight back.

“We fight back first by fighting back, fighting the terrorists, fighting their backers, fighting those who incite for such murder, whether in Hebron or in Orlando, or in Berlin, or in Ankara, or in Belgium, anywhere.

“We fight back by making sure that our collective moral compass doesn’t waver even a millimeter.

“Today we will cherish Hallel’s memory. We will defend and honor her dignity by redoubling our efforts around the world to defeat the scourge of radical Islamist terror.

UNRWA school hides its "river to the sea" agenda ahead of UN visit

Secretary General of the United Nations Ban Ki Moon visited Gaza, and gave a talk an a UNRWA school

In preparation for his visit, officials at the school hid a large flag showing a map of "historic Palestine" - in actuality a map of modern day Israel.

Palestinians were upset by this,and took to social media to complain

This is yet another example of how UNRWA has become obstacle for peace. Rather than promoting peace with Israel, UNRWA promotes a world without Israel.

Today, several neo-Nazi groups rallied in Sacramento, and were met with a counter protest.

Traditionalist Workers Party, Blood and Honor, the Golden State Skinheads and other neo-Nazi white supremacist groups violently clashed with a group calling themselves Antifasac. Official estimates are 30 skinheads, with over 400 gathering in opposition.

Ten people were taken to area hospitals, 2 with life threatening injuries after the clash at the State Capitol. Nine men and one woman were injured

The Traditionalist Workers party is headed by Mathew Heimbach, Jew hater and a fan of the Hezbollah terror group.

Why does a skinhead white supremacist support the head of Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah? 

My guess?  United by the common cause of Jew-Hate

The terror attack at the Sarona market  left  4 dead and 16 wounded.  Ido Ben-Ari, 42, from Ramat Gan; Ilana Nave, 39, from Tel Aviv; Dr. Michael Feige, 58 from Midreshet Ben-Gurion; and Mila Mishayev, 32, from Rishon Lezion were murdered by  2 Palestinian terrorists who entered the restaurant dressed in business attire, ordered food, them calmly took out a gun and fired indiscriminately.

Multiple Palestinian celebrations broke out in Gaza, the West Bank, and eastern Jerusalem following news of the killings in Tel Aviv. Palestinian residents of Hebron and Gaza set off fireworks in honor of the shooting, while the Gaza-based Shehab News Agency reported that Palestinians in the Strip handed out sweets after receiving news of the attack.

In the streets of Gaza, and the West Bank  murals have gone up lionizing the killers.

No Way to Treat a child. Again, J Street finds itself on the wrong side

Ever the optimists, American Muslims for Palestine has proudly proclaimed that 20 of the 535 members of Congress  have signed onto a letter filled with spurious accusations against Israel.

Twenty of of 535 Congressional Representatives. Just under 4%. The signers are listed below.

The letter, introduced by Betty McCollum, a Democrat from Minnesota asks  "Does a life of utter hopelessness...directly contribute to the violence?" She's asking the wrong question.

The rampant abuse of Palestinians children by those responsible for their very safety- their parents and their government- goes unmentioned in the McCollum letter.

There is no mention of Hamas run summer camps, that teach soldiering skills to children as young as 12.

There was no mention of  incitement and glorification of violence in both the government controlled mass media and the social media, where brightly colored cartoon characters meant precisely to appeal to children encourage violence against the Jewish community.

There is no mention of the monuments erected to Jew-killers, or the soccer tournaments, streets and schools named after these murderers. There is no mention of the salaries paid to the families of those who kill. There is no mention of the Palestinian textbooks and school curriculum that demonize the Jewish people and deny their heritage.

The signers of the McCollum letter are missing a huge part of the story.

Incidentally, 17 of the 20 signers of the McCollum letter have been endorsed by  "pro-Israel, pro-peace" J Street, making it difficult to fathom just what they mean by claiming they are "pro-Israel".

While the nation grieved for its fallen in Orlando, Israeli haters rushed to the web to blame the murders on...you guessed it....Israel.

They, of course, ignore Orlando terrorist Omar Mateens' own words in support of the terror group ISIS They also ignore Mateen's support of that other bastion of terror, "Palestine" .

Widespread Fraud in Jewish Voice for Peace's Airbnb petition

The Stolen Homes Coalition which includes Code Pink, American Muslims for Palestine,  the US Palestinian Community Network, US Campaign to End the Israeli Occupation and Jewish Voice for Peace has launched a campaign against  Airbnb and  Fidelity investments to pressure them to exclude vacation rentals in Judea and Samaria.  A June 3  “day of action”  included protests at Fidelity offices in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., and several other cities and culminated in the dramatic presentation of a petition allegedly signed by over 150,000 people.

Allegedly.

Activists on Social media have exposed widespread fraud in the petition drive. Turns out the JVP and friends claims were a bit exaggerated.

A petition hosted at Sum of us has no precautions in place to prevent multiple entries per IP. There is no verification mechanism in place, and  no restrictions on the number of times a single computer can  "sign".

Its no wonder the petition has over 150,000 "names" listed .

Word to the wise:  Take any JVP sponsored  "petition" with a grain of salt.

Holy war: 1948 call for holy war against the nascent Jewish state

Throwback Thursday.

Nothing quite like looking at original documents to get to the heat of the matter.

From the May 15, 1948 Los Angeles Times, issued on the day of Israel's independence.

The war against Israel was not a territorial dispute- it was jihad- a holy war.

Sheik Mamoun Al Shinawi, rector of the 1000 year old Alazhar University and spiritual leader of Moslems throughout the world called today for a jihad (holy war) against the Jews of the new state of Israel.

"The decisive hour has come," Shiek Shinawi said in a radio address.

"Come to war and struggle for the sake of Allah"

"Today is your day," the rector told Moslems. "The whole world is watching you. Unless you rise to defend your rights,unless you fight your enemy and are ready to die for Allah and your countries, humiliation will be your lot"

There is no mention of the "Palestinian" people in this article, or in any newspaper article written in 1948.

New York State anti-BDS law: the day after

In less than 24 hours, New York Governor Cuomo's anti- BDS directive on Twitter was liked over 2,000 times, and retweeted 1.6 thousand times.

The anti-Israel cru took to social media, expressing their displeasure with their usual blend of subtlety and nuance.

JVP- "Jewish" Voice for Peace and Code Pink  responded with....wait for it... a petition, displaying their characteristic moral inversion.

Dear Governor Cuomo: 

Repeal your unconstitutional executive order punishing institutions that support the Palestinian call for boycott, divestment and sanctions (BDS) to achieve freedom for Palestinians and protest Israeli human rights abuses. 

Boycotts are a constitutionally protected, nonviolent tactic used by social movements to achieve justice and equality. 

New York State should not single out supporters of Palestinian rights for a politically-motivated McCarthyite blacklist.

After all, the only state worthy of being singled out is the worlds' only Jewish state and the only liberal democracy in the region.  And  boycotts that are meant to protect the Jewish state, our closest friend and ally in the region could never be a "constitutionally protected non-violent tactic"., because, well, just because.

The very rights the Israel haters demand for themselves and their movement, they systematically deny to others

Breaking News! New York State divests from BDS

At a speech at the Harvard Club in Manhattan, New York Governor. Andrew M. Cuomo signed an executive order, directing  agencies under his control on Sunday to divest themselves of companies and organizations aligned with the BDS movement against Israel.

“We cannot allow that to happen,” the governor said, adding that, “If you boycott against Israel, New York will boycott you.”

The first-in-the-nation action will ensure that no state agency or authority engages in or promotes any investment activity that would further the harmful and discriminatory Palestinian-backed Boycotts, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) campaign in New York State. The Governor made the announcement at the Celebrate Israel Parade.

“New York stands in solidarity with Israel today and always. BDS: A new face on an old hate

BDS- boycotts, divestment and sanctions against the world’s only Jewish State are nothing new, and are not related to the "occupation"-  but against the very existence of Israel, within any borders.
