Palestinians arrested in Murder of Fogel family

"When our days become dreary with low-hovering clouds of despair, and when our nights become darker than a thousand midnights, let us remember that there is a creative force in this universe, working to pull down the gigantic mountains of evil, a power that is able to make a way out of no way and transform dark yesterdays into bright tomorrows. Let us realize the arc of the moral universe is long but it bends toward justice."
Dr. martin Luther king Jr.

Perhaps now we can achieve a degree of justice for the Fogel family.

The Israel Defense Forces have arrested two people it identified as responsible for the massacre of an Israeli family in the West Bank settlement of Itamar, officials said Sunday.

The two suspects, Amjad Awad and Hakim Awad were caught in the nearby Palestinian village of Awarta, According to the lifted gag order on Sunday, six additional Palestinian suspects from Awad were also arrested in connection to the crime, four of whom belong to the same family.

The pair are accused of killing Udi and Ruth Fogel, and three of their children. The two men were members of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, but acted independently, the security services said.

The International Solidarity movement, acting again in their capacity as shields for terror, had earlier issued a press release calling the treatment of members of the Awad family abusive. Julia Awad apparently was "fed food she described as fit for animals, ... and marched to the toilet furthest from her cell". Torture, Israeli style.

According to Ynet, one of the suspects arrested - Amjad Mahmad Uwad, a 19-year-old student who worked as a laborer in Israel, said that he came to Itamar to "die a martyr's death."

UPDATE:
According to the J Post , the murderers " received much support from family members and friends in their environment,"

After completing the slaughter, the suspects walked back to the village and told Hakim's uncle, PFLP member Salah Adin Awad, what they had done. Hakim's uncle, PFLP member Salah Adin Awad, what they had done. He instructed them to burn their clothes.

And true to form, In the West Bank, the Awarta Village Council head Kais Awad demanded an international investigation into the IDF's investigative tactics
claiming that the Israeli investigation amounted to collective punishment on the village.

Yeah. It takes a village.
