Massacre in Jerusalem

Two Palestinians armed with a meat cleaver, axe and a gun stormed a synagogue in the Orthodox neighborhood of Har Nof and attacked worshipers during morning prayers. Of the four killed,  three were Americans and one was a British national. 8 others were wounded, including police officers



Rabbi Kalman ( Cary) Levine, Rabbi Avraham Goldberg, Rabbi Aryeh Kopinsky and  Rabbi Moshe Twersky were killed, according to an announcement made by the synagogue.


The attackers, Palestinian cousins Odai Abed Abu Jamal, 22, and Ghassan Muhammad Abu Jamal, 32. were killed in a shoot-out with the police. The Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades, the military wing of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, claimed responsibility for the attack. Palestinians celebrated the bloodshed throughout the West Bank and Gaza, dancing in the streets and passing out candy.


In a Facebook post, Sami Abu Zuhri, a Hamas spokesman called for more attacks against Israelis.  Another Hamas spokesman, Mushir al-Masri, called this an “heroic action.” Husam Badran, Hamas’s foreign relation spokesperson, described the attack as a “quality action.”

Zidan Saif, a Druze policeman has become the fifth victim of the terror attack, succumbing to a head wound he received in today's gunbattle with the Palestinian terrorists
