Nearly 62 years ago, the United Nations recognized the right of the Jews, an ancient people 3,500 years-old, to a state of their own in their ancestral homeland.
I stand here today as the Prime Minister of Israel, the Jewish state, and I speak to you on behalf of my country and my people.
The United Nations was founded after the carnage of World War II and the horrors of the Holocaust. It was charged with preventing the recurrence of such horrendous events. Nothing has undermined that central mission more than the systematic assault on the truth.
Yesterday the President of Iran stood at this very podium, spewing his latest anti-Semitic rants. Just a few days earlier, he again claimed that the Holocaust is a lie.
Last month, I went to a villa in a suburb of Berlin called Wannsee. There, on January 20, 1942, after a hearty meal, senior Nazi officials met and decided how to exterminate the Jewish people. The detailed minutes of that meeting have been preserved by successive German governments.
Here is a copy of those minutes, in which the Nazis issued precise instructions on how to carry out the extermination of the Jews. Is this a lie?
A day before I was in Wannsee, I was given in Berlin the original construction plans for the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp. Those plans are signed by Hitler’s deputy, Heinrich Himmler himself. Here is a copy of the plans for Auschwitz-Birkenau, where one million Jews were murdered. Is this too a lie?
This June, President Obama visited the Buchenwald concentration camp. Did President Obama pay tribute to a lie? And what of the Auschwitz survivors whose arms still bear the tattooed numbers branded on them by the Nazis? Are those tattoos a lie?
One-third of all Jews perished in the conflagration. Nearly every Jewish family was affected, including my own. My wife's grandparents, her father’s two sisters and three brothers, and all the aunts, uncles and cousins were all murdered by the Nazis. Is that also a lie?
Yesterday, the man who calls the Holocaust a lie spoke from this podium. To those who refused to come here and to those who left this room in protest, I commend you. You stood up for moral clarity and you brought honor to your countries.

Though it is comprised of different offshoots, the adherents of this unforgiving creed seek to return humanity to medieval times. Wherever they can, they impose a backward regimented society where women, minorities, gays or anyone not deemed to be a true believer is brutally subjugated.
The struggle against this fanaticism does not pit faith against faith nor civilization against civilization. It pits civilization against barbarism, the 21st century against the 9th century, those who sanctify life against those who glorify death. The primitivism of the 9th century ought to be no match for the progress of the 21st century. The allure of freedom, the power of technology, the reach of communications should surely win the day.
Ultimately, the past cannot triumph over the future. And the future offers all nations magnificent bounties of hope. The pace of progress is growing exponentially. It took us centuries to get from the printing press to the telephone, decades to get from the telephone to the personal computer, and only a few years to get from the personal computer to the internet.
What seemed impossible a few years ago is already outdated, and we can scarcely fathom the changes that are yet to come.
We will crack the genetic code. We will cure the incurable. We will lengthen our lives. We will find a cheap alternative to fossil fuels and clean up the planet.
I am proud that my country Israel is at the forefront of these advances – by leading innovations in science and technology, medicine and biology, agriculture and water, energy and the environment. These innovations the world over offer humanity a sunlit future of unimagined promise.
But if the most primitive fanaticism can acquire the most deadly weapons, the march of history could be reversed for a time. And like the belated victory over the Nazis, the forces of progress and freedom will prevail only after a horrific toll of blood and fortune has been exacted from mankind.
That is why the greatest threat facing the world today is the marriage between religious fanaticism and the weapons of mass destruction, and the most urgent challenge facing this body is to prevent the tyrants of Tehran from acquiring nuclear weapons.
Are the member states of the United Nations up to that challenge? Will the international community confront a despotism that terrorizes its own people as they bravely stand up for freedom?
Will it take action against the dictators who stole an election in broad daylight and gunned down Iranian protesters who died in the streets choking in their own blood?
Will the international community thwart the world's most pernicious sponsors and practitioners of terrorism?
Above all, will the international community stop the terrorist regime of Iran from developing atomic weapons, thereby endangering the peace of the entire world?
The people of Iran are courageously standing up to this regime. People of goodwill around the world stand with them, as do the thousands who have been protesting outside this hall. Will the United Nations stand by their side?
Ladies and Gentlemen,
The jury is still out on the United Nations, and recent signs are not encouraging.
Rather than condemning the terrorists and their Iranian patrons, some here have condemned their victims. That is exactly what a recent UN report on Gaza did, falsely equating the terrorists with those they targeted.
For eight long years, Hamas fired from Gaza thousands of missiles, mortars and rockets on nearby Israeli cities. Year after year, as these missiles were deliberately hurled at our civilians, not a single UN resolution was passed condemning those criminal attacks.
We heard nothing – absolutely nothing – from the UN Human Rights Council, a misnamed institution if there ever was one.
In 2005, hoping to advance peace, Israel unilaterally withdrew from every inch of Gaza. It dismantled 21 settlements and uprooted over 8,000 Israelis.
We didn't get peace. Instead we got an Iranian backed terror base fifty miles from Tel Aviv. Life in Israeli towns and cities next to Gaza became a nightmare.
You see, the Hamas rocket attacks not only continued, they increased tenfold. Again, the UN was silent.
Finally, after eight years of this unremitting assault, Israel was finally forced to respond. But how should we have responded?
Well, there is only one example in history of thousands of rockets being fired on a country's civilian population. It happened when the Nazis rocketed British cities during World War II.
During that war, the allies leveled German cities, causing hundreds of thousands of casualties. Israel chose to respond differently. Faced with an enemy committing a double war crime of firing on civilians while hiding behind civilians – Israel sought to conduct surgical strikes against the rocket launchers.
That was no easy task because the terrorists were firing missiles from homes and schools, using mosques as weapons depots and ferreting explosives in ambulances.
Israel, by contrast, tried to minimize casualties by urging Palestinian civilians to vacate the targeted areas. We dropped countless flyers over their homes, sent thousands of text messages and called thousands of cell phones asking people to leave.
Never has a country gone to such extraordinary lengths to remove the enemy's civilian population from harm's way. Yet faced with such a clear case of aggressor and victim, who did the UN Human Rights Council decide to condemn? Israel.
A democracy legitimately defending itself against terror is morally hanged, drawn and quartered, and given an unfair trial to boot.
By these twisted standards, the UN Human Rights Council would have dragged Roosevelt and Churchill to the dock as war criminals. What a perversion of truth! What a perversion of justice!
Delegates of the United Nations,
Will you accept this farce? Because if you do, the United Nations would revert to its darkest days, when the worst violators of human rights sat in judgment against the law-abiding democracies, when Zionism was equated with racism and when an automatic majority could declare that the earth is flat.
If this body does not reject this report, it would send a message to terrorists everywhere: Terror pays; if you launch your attacks from densely populated areas, you will win immunity.
And in condemning Israel, this body would also deal a mortal blow to peace. Here's why. When Israel left Gaza, many hoped that the missile attacks would stop. Others believed that at the very least, Israel would have international legitimacy to exercise its right of self-defense.
What legitimacy? What self-defense?
The same UN that cheered Israel as it left Gaza and promised to back our right of self-defense now accuses us –my people, my country - of war crimes? And for what? For acting responsibly in self-defense. What a travesty!
Israel justly defended itself against terror. This biased and unjust report is a clear-cut test for all governments. Will you stand with Israel or will you stand with the terrorists?
We must know the answer to that question now. Now and not later. Because if Israel is again asked to take more risks for peace, we must know today that you will stand with us tomorrow.
Only if we have the confidence that we can defend ourselves can we take further risks for peace.

All of Israel wants peace. Any time an Arab leader genuinely wanted peace with us, we made peace. We made peace with Egypt led by Anwar Sadat. We made peace with Jordan led by King Hussein.
And if the Palestinians truly want peace, I and my government, and the people of Israel, will make peace. But we want a genuine peace, a defensible peace, a permanent peace.
In 1947, this body voted to establish two states for two peoples – a Jewish state and an Arab state. The Jews accepted that resolution. The Arabs rejected it. We ask the Palestinians to finally do what they have refused to do for 62 years: Say yes to a Jewish state.
Just as we are asked to recognize a nation-state for the Palestinian people, the Palestinians must be asked to recognize the nation state of the Jewish people. The Jewish people are not foreign conquerors in the Land of Israel. This is the land of our forefathers.
Inscribed on the walls outside this building is the great Biblical vision of peace: "Nation shall not lift up sword against nation. They shall learn war no more." These words were spoken by the Jewish prophet Isaiah 2,800 years ago as he walked in my country, in my city - in the hills of Judea and in the streets of Jerusalem. We are not strangers to this land. It is our homeland.
As deeply connected as we are to this land, we recognize that the Palestinians also live there and want a home of their own. We want to live side by side with them, two free peoples living in peace, prosperity and dignity.
But we must have security. The Palestinians should have all the powers to govern themselves except those handful of powers that could endanger Israel.
That is why a Palestinian state must be effectively demilitarized. We don't want another Gaza, another Iranian backed terror base abutting Jerusalem and perched on the hills a few kilometers from Tel Aviv.
We want peace.
I believe such a peace can be achieved. But only if we roll back the forces of terror, led by Iran, that seek to destroy peace, eliminate Israel and overthrow the world order.
The question facing the international community is whether it is prepared to confront those forces or accommodate them.
Over seventy years ago, Winston Churchill lamented what he called the "confirmed unteachability of mankind," the unfortunate habit of civilized societies to sleep until danger nearly overtakes them.
Churchill bemoaned what he called the "want of foresight, the unwillingness to act when action will be simple and effective, the lack of clear thinking, the confusion of counsel until emergency comes, until self-preservation strikes its jarring gong."
I speak here today in the hope that Churchill's assessment of the "unteachability of mankind" is for once proven wrong.
I speak here today in the hope that we can learn from history -- that we can prevent danger in time.
In the spirit of the timeless words spoken to Joshua over 3,000 years ago, let us be strong and of good courage. Let us confront this peril, secure our future and, God willing, forge an enduring peace for generations to come.

What he avoids describing in any great detail is Ms. Walker's tendency to posit the conflict in stark terms of 'good' (women equals non-white equals victim equals just equals Palestinian) versus 'evil' (white imperialist equals America equals murder, bloodshed, rape equals the West equals racism equals Israel).

If anyone should engage in profound introspection this Yom Kippur, it is manifestly Alice Walker herself and those who to whom she pimps her simplistic cotton-wool codswallop.
I doubt that she is capable of it, however. Not unless she can find some way of feeling 'victimized', and therefore saintly, pure, and profoundly self-righteous.
Introspection is just not the custom of today's pretentious faux-intellectual Jew-haters.

IF YOU THOUGHT CARTER WAS BAD .....

IF YOU THOUGHT CARTER WAS BAD .....
It's not bad enough that Dhimmi Carter refuses to stay put wherever it is that they billet past presidents when they begin to embarrass themselves and their country. But now the man who was Carter's mentor - the architect of some of his worst policies - has reappeared and is vying for the ear of yet another inexperienced president. [Note: I am using the word 'inexperienced' objectively and without prejudice]
This past Sunday, Carter's former national security adviser, Zbigniew Brzezinski, announced in an interview that he feels President Barak Obama should order U.S. forces to shoot down Israeli jets in the event that they try to over-fly Iraqi airspace on their way to bomb Iran's nuclear facilities.
Here is his exact statement:
"They have to fly over our airspace in Iraq. Are we just going to sit there and watch? ... We have to be serious about denying them that right. That means a denial where you aren't just saying it. If they fly over, you go up and confront them. They have the choice of turning back or not. No one wishes for this but it could be a 'Liberty' in reverse."
Just take a moment to re-read that quote. This is an angry man talking. If you didn't know the context you could be forgiven for assuming he was talking about an enemy. Not only is he speaking about an ally in a completely belligerent tone, but he seems to have an axe to grind over the USS Liberty.
Not incidentally, it was under the watchful eyes of Carter and Brzezinski that Iraq was allowed to develop the Osirak nuclear facility. So it isn't a reach to figure that both men are still stung by the prevailing school of thought which holds that Israel was forced to 'fix' a mistake that was allowed to happen on their watch.
Yes, I know that technically Israel bombed Osirak after Carter left office. But hanging Iraq's nuclear program around Ronald Reagan's neck would be about as silly as giving Jimmy Carter credit for the release of the US hostages from Iran. The mistakes were made on Carter's and Brzezinski's watch. The problems were 'solved' by others who came after.
Getting back to Mr. Brzezinski, it wasn't that he simply announced that the US should shoot down Israeli planes. He actually went so far as to suggest that if such a military show-down came to pass, that it would be a payback for the 'Liberty Affair'.
Now, for those not in the know about the fate of the USS Liberty, I suggest reading what's found at this link. But if you are tight on time, the short version is that in June of 1967 during the Six Day War, a US Intel Gathering (i.e.spy) ship entered an area that Israel had declared a closed military zone and was mistakenly identified as an Egyptian warship. In a tragic case of mistaken identify, the Liberty was bombed and strafed by Israeli planes resulting in the loss of the ship and the death of 34 men (171 others were wounded).
Israel apologized, took full responsibility for the accident, and paid compensation to the families of the dead, to the wounded and to the U.S. government for the loss of the ship. After two decades of independent US and Israeli governmental investigations (and countless conspiracy theories that still abound) the Israeli and US government's officially closed the books on the incident with an exchange of diplomatic notes on December 17, 1987.
Apparently Mr. Brzezinski didn't get the memo... or is still carrying a grudge.
I say this because threatening deliberate US military aggression against Israel in the same breath as one mentions a tragic friendly fire accident makes absolutely no sense. Unless, of course, the speaker doesn't think of it as an accident.
The only way you can find logic in his juxtaposition of these two events - one in the past and one in the future - is if Israel's attack on the Liberty was as premeditated as, say, the theoretical downing of Israeli fighters by US forces in Iraq.
I mean, think about it for a moment... he isn't suggesting that the US accidentally [wink wink] mis-identify and kill Israeli pilots, is he? No, of course not. He clearly sees the Liberty incident as a score that requires settling... and is among a dangerous breed of US diplomats and political scientists/advisers who view Israel exclusively through the lens of whatever preconception(s) and/or grudge(s) they may hold.
Aside from the fact that the outcome of a hostile encounter between Israeli and US warplanes over Iraq would be far from a turkey shoot for the American aviators... the idea of rattling a sabre in the face of the US's only stable ally in the region is just plain wrong-headed. Unless, of course, the sabre-rattler doesn't consider Israel an ally in the first place.
Fortunately, much of the world views Jimmy Carter as little more than a failed president taking un-earned curtain calls on the world stage in order to salvage some sort of legacy. But what few people remember is that Brzezinski was essentially calling the shots for Carter even before he declared his intention to run for president. He placed Jimmy Carter on the world stage by inviting him to join his newly formed 'Trilateral Commission' while he was a relatively unknown governor of a state most foreigners couldn't find on a map. And from that point on, Carter acknowledged that he was "an eager student" of Brzezinski; making him his primary foreign policy adviser during and after the presidential election.
My greatest fear is that another neophyte president with limited experience in the international arena will turn his attention to the architect of Carter's failed presidency. Seriously, it could happen! If you thought Carter was bad... try to imagine how bad things might get if someone like Brzezinski were to gain Obama's ear.

Boycott gathers steam
A friend in Belgium forwards a list of companies and products that the European pro-Palestinian movement intends to boycott, because they are either owned by Jews or do business with Israel.
It is a rather extensive list. Boycotting these companies and their products might have been an extreme hardship, but fortunately, my very good friend Imam Abdullah Shazzbutt has helpfully suggested satisfactory substitutions. Anyone wishing to support the Palestinians should feel free to boycott EVERYTHING on this list, and must use the suggested substitutions instead.

JERUSALEM (JTA) -- A Spanish government ministry disqualified an Israeli university from an international competition for being in "occupied territory."
The Spanish Housing Ministry, in a letter sent last Friday to the Ariel University Center, said it was disqualifying the architecture department from competing in the finals of an international competition in Madrid next month to build a house that runs on solar power.
"The decision was made by the Spanish government based on the fact that the university is located in occupied territory in the West Bank," read the letter signed by Sergio Vega, project manager of the Solar Decathlon, Ynet reported. "The Spanish government is committed to uphold the international agreement under the framework of the European Union and the United Nations regarding this geographical area."

The disqualification comes in the wake of an inititative by the Britian-based group Architects and Planners for Justice in Palestine, Ynet reported.
Organized by the U.S. Department of Energy, the competition until this year had been held in Washington.

Iran - the time is now
In a very long post recently, Atboth wrote about the background to the Syrian involvement with Hamas and Iran. He gave the impression that Hamas' reliance on Syria and Iran is unique.

The unpleasant truth is that it isn't just Hamas and Hizbollah that perpetrate terrorism - Syria and Iran are actively engaged in it also. Not only in the territories and Lebanon, but also in Iraq. And, one has to assume elsewhere (as they have been in the past).
Iran and Syria have co-operated on so many things of a dubious nature, including atomic, that they must be seen as not only equal partners, equally evil, but so mutually involved as to be inseparable.
That being that case, by what peculiar logic is Iran a partner for dialogue? How does terrorism qualify the mullah-regime as worthy of negotiation?
I understand that the United States and Israel must at all costs project a wish to discuss and a desire to resolve problems by peaceful means. But nothing has changed in Iran, nor in Syria.

The situation has not been dealt with effectively for the past eight years, and has only gotten worse. There is NO POINT AT ALL in the Obama administration even trying to establish it's own record of failed peace attempts and Persian intransigence.

They will "be taking direct action (without any intention of arrest) in support of BDS (a la French video)"
The forces of goodness and light in the Bay area have enjoyed watching the "direct action" plans back-fire so beautifully. We may just have to sit back and watch the fireworks on this one, too.

The New York Helmsley Hotel canceled a long-planned banquet after finding out that Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was scheduled to attend.
Helmsley representatives made it clear to Ahmadinejadthat that he was not welcome in their facility after being informed by United Against Nuclear Iran that the holocaust denier would be using their facility.
"As soon as Helmsley corporate management learned of the possibility of either the Iranian Mission or President Ahmadinejad holding a function at the New York Helmsley Hotel, they immediately ordered the cancellation of that function," Rubenstein said.

Swedish lies revisited
Yes, I know the slanderous Goldstone report is the cause of the minute. But rather than digging through five hundred plus pages of turgid waffle, I would prefer to read something else.
No one has EVER accused the United Nations of authoring readable reports. Writing by committee produces little more than literary camels. Especially when self-righteous South Africans are involved.
So instead, let me revisit the Swedish blood libel.
FREEDOM TO INCITE
The Swedish government, as is now well known, supported the author and the lie. In the minds of Sweden's sanctimonious leftwing bureaucrats, the fact that there was no truth whatsoever was a minor detail, that the author was a fellow Swede, and therefore probably superior to any damn Jew, ranked uppermost.

The Goldstone Commission report is a mockery of history. It fails to distinguish between the aggressor and a state exercising its right for self defense.
War itself is a crime. The aggressor is the criminal. The side exercising self-defense has no other alternative.
The Hamas terrorist organization has opened war and perpetrated other horrible crimes. For years, Hamas carried out attacks against the children of Israel, sending suicide bombers into city centers, injuring and killing civilians. They fired over 12,000 rockets and mortar shells at towns and villages with one clear aim - to kill innocent civilians.
The report legitimizes terrorist activity, the pursuit of murder and death. The report disregards the duty and right of self defense, held by every sovereign state as enshrined in the UN Charter.
Israel withdrew all of its troops and settlers from the Gaza Strip, opened the border crossings and actively supported its reconstruction. The Israeli presence in Gaza was terminated.
But after Israel completed its redeployment from Gaza, a murderous and illegitimate terror group violently revolted against the legitimate Fatah leadership, overthrowing it by force.
Hamas operatives murdered Fatah leaders, at times throwing them from rooftops in broad daylight.
While Hamas continued firing, Israel employed, time and time again, the diplomatic channels, including many appeals to the UN – in an attempt to bring about a cessation of rocket fire.
Israel redeployed and terminated its presence in Gaza. Hamas responded with incessant rocket fire aimed at killing children, women and innocent civilians. Instead of building Gaza and caring for the welfare of its citizens, Hamas built tunnels to attack Israel, cruelly using children and innocent Palestinians to hide terrorists and ammunition.
Hamas terrorists built rocket launching pads and storage facilities near schools, in mosques and kindergartens. They booby-trapped urban neighborhoods and used Palestinian children as human-shields in order to hide terrorists and war materiel.
The State of Israel was forced to defend itself. It acted out of obligation to its citizens, like any sister state in the family of nations would.
Israel has been criticized for its actions against Hezbollah attacks from Lebanon and Hamas attacks from the Gaza Strip, as well as for building the security barrier in the West Bank to prevent suicide bombers from entering the country.
This criticism did not stop the rockets from hitting the South and the North, nor did it stop terrorists from blowing themselves up in our central cities. IDF operations enabled economic prosperity in the West Bank, relieved southern Lebanese citizens from the terror of Hezbollah and have enabled Gazans to have normal lives again.

ISRAEL: KEEP OUT THE RIFF-RAFF
During the years when the Western Wall and the Temple Mount were in Muslim hands, Jews were barred from access, and the Hashemite authorities made the wall a public urinal. Christians were prevented from visiting their sacred places in the Holy City. What had for centuries been the Jewish Quarter was brutally cleansed of everything Jewish, whether ancient or modern. The destruction of part of Jerusalem's heritage by the Arabs was unimaginable. Which mirrored exactly what was happening in the West Bank, and most of the Arab world.
Save for the Mellahs in Morocco, and some old buildings in Cairo and Alexandria, little remains to remind the Arabs that other people once lived in the lands they conquered.

When the Israelis liberated the old Jewish quarter and regained access to the Wall, they permitted each community access to the holy sites. Morally this was the right choice, but strategically and historically it may have been an error. There has been no Arab reciprocation. And much like in 1929, 1948, 1967, and 1973, the Arabs still insist that they will cleanse the map by blood. First the Holy Land, then the rest of the world.
In the meantime, the Christians have by and large turned their backs on Jerusalem, not caring one way or other, provided only that the Jews be disinherited.
DISINVESTMENT ANTI-SEMITES
Yes, I know not all Christians feel that way. But the disinvestment movement in most Christian denominations leaves little doubt. The Christian world would prefer that there be no Jews in Jerusalem. Many Presbyterian Churches are strongly anti-Israel, a number of Lutheran Congregations openly support the terrorist infrastructure, and the Methodists are severely disapproving of anything too Jewish (such as Israel).
The less said about the American Society of Friends, and the Unitarians, the better.
The Catholic Church, after a brief period of pro-Israel sentiment, has now seemingly realized that there is more to be gained by proselytizing among the other Christian sects, including their own arch-conservative breakaways, and has stepped away from some of its more sincere rapprochementoes to the Jews.
It is time to remind the Christians and the Muslims that, contrary to when they were in power in the Holy Land, there is freedom of religion there now. Unlike during the Christian and Islamic periods, all can worship in whatever way they choose.
Any cleric belonging to an anti-Israel organization should be banned from entry. There is no reason to permit him or his followers into the country.
Israel is a secular democracy. And as such, should be far less hospitable towards people who because of religious bias seek Israel's destruction.
There should be NO room for deviant-religious Jew-hating political nuts in Israel.
Lest you now call me a Jewish anti-Christian bigot, I hasten to point out that my family, until four generations ago, were strict Dutch Calvinists. There are no Jews in my family. Consequently I am not a Jewish anti-Christian bigot, I am an irreligious jack-Calvinist bigot.
If you don't like it, you know what you can do.

The Catholic Church, after a brief period of pro-Israel sentiment, has now seemingly realized that there is more to be gained by proselytizing among the other Christian sects, including their own arch-conservative breakaways, and has stepped away from some of its more sincere rapprochementoes to the Jews.
It is time to remind the Christians and the Muslims that, contrary to when they were in power in the Holy Land, there is freedom of religion there now. Unlike during the Christian and Islamic periods, all can worship in whatever way they choose.
Any cleric belonging to an anti-Israel organization should be banned from entry. There is no reason to permit him or his followers into the country.
Israel is a secular democracy. And as such, should be far less hospitable towards people who because of religious bias seek Israel's destruction.
There should be NO room for deviant-religious Jew-hating political nuts in Israel.
Lest you now call me a Jewish anti-Christian bigot, I hasten to point out that my family, until four generations ago, were strict Dutch Calvinists. There are no Jews in my family. Consequently I am not a Jewish anti-Christian bigot, I am an irreligious jack-Calvinist bigot.

Welcome to the Hotel Gaza
This is the Commodore Gaza Hotel in Gaza City. I took one look at this hotel (many members of the Viva Palestina movement stayed here during their last excursion) and what immediately came to my mind was "Its just like the Warsaw ghetto".
Ah, the horror of it all! The inhumanity!
In case you didn't know, the Commodore Gaza was the first international 5 star hotel established in Gaza to meet the demand of VIP travelers, Businessmen, Economists and other holiday makers.
The Commodore Gaza has a sauna – Jacuzzi – massage –multiple restaurants, 24 hour room service and a luxurious swimming pool.
Just like the Warsaw ghetto.
Islamic radicals meeting homosexuals
Astounding news! Iraqi fundamentalist Muslims have decided to do something about the widespread INTOLERANCE of homosexuality in the Arab world. And several of them regularly visit gay chatrooms on the internet looking for gay Arabic-speakers.
Whom they brutally slaughter.
Admittedly, this is not an adequate or even sane response to the deeply repressed homosexuality in Arab societies - it hardly seems likely to lead to any liberalization, and will probably repulse many people (EXCEPT for the anti-Western social activists in Berkeley and parts of Europe), but it is, finally, an acknowledgement that homosexuality exists, and that it is not a life-style choice.

Yemen Military battles "militants" in the north country!

I had no idea about this conflict in Yemen. Until now, I had not read nor heard of the Zaydi Shiite militants (militants = PC for Muslims who are violent and well-armed). The Zaydi Shiite terrorists are anti-American Jew haters who want to turn Yemen into a theocracy. The intifada is global, and it's not restricted to inflicting terror on just Jews & Infidels either.
