Open Promotion of Terrorist Organization at San Francisco State University

The PFLP is an internationally recognized terror group, responsible for terror attacks across the globe.
From the Global Security website:

  • July 22, 1968. PFLP hijacked its first plane, an El Al flight from Rome to Tel Aviv.
  • September 1970. PFLP hijacked three passenger planes and took them to airfields in Jordan, where the PLO was then based; after the planes were emptied, the hijackers blew them up. In response, King Hussein of Jordan decided that Palestinian radicals had gone too far and drove the PLO out of his kingdom.
  • 1972. PFLP and Japanese Red Army gunmen murdered two dozen passengers at Israel's international airport in Lod. Okudaira and two other Japanese radicals were trained and sent by the PFLP into Israel to perpetrate what is now called the Lod Airport massacre in May 1972. It is likely that the three men were not members of any well~established organization in Japan, but rather individuals who were motivated by the goals of the PFLP in combating Israel. PFLP spokesman in June 1972 readily admitted that the PFLP had trained and dispatched the Japanese terrorists on the Lod mission.
  • 1973. On 20 July 1973 a combined JRA-PFLP group hijacked a Japan Airlines (JAL) Boeing 747 as it departed Amsterdam's international airport. The aircraft was hijacked by five terrorists, who included both Palestinians and members of the leftist Japanese Red Army. 87 hours after the hijack began, the aircraft landed at Banghazi and was set on fire and ultimately destroyed. One of the hijackers was killed by her own grenade.
  • 1976. breaking a PLO agreement to end terrorism outside Israeli-held territory, PFLP members joined with West German radical leftists from the Baader-Meinhof Gang to hijack an Air France flight bound for Tel Aviv and landed the plane in Entebbe, Uganda. In a now famous raid, Israeli commandos stormed the plane on the Entebbe tarmac and freed the hostages.
  • October 2001. PFLP gunmen shot dead Iraeli Tourism minister Rechavam Ze'evi, in a Jerusalem hotel-the first assassination of an Israeli minister
  • April 2002, Israeli officials foiled a PFLP attempt to blow up a Tel Aviv skyscraper with a car bomb-which could have caused massive casualties and would have marked a dramatic escalation in Palestinian terrorism.
  • February 16, 2002 - Suicide bombing at Karnei Shomron pizzeria, in which three people were killed and 30 wounded.
  • May 19, 2002 - Suicide bombing at Netanya outdoor market, in which three people were killed and about 60 wounded.
  • June 20, 2002 - Terrorist infiltration of Itamar, in which five were killed - including a mother and her three sons - and eight wounded.
  • December 25, 2003 - Suicide bombing at the Geha junction, in which four people were killed and over 20 wounded.
Recently,  Palestinian associated with the PLFP terror group murdered 5 Rabbis with meat cleavers and axes as they prayed in Jerusalem on November 18 2014. A sixth victim, a Druze Israeli policeman was also killed.

The logo of the PFLP leaves no doubt of their goal-  the eventual takeover of all of Israel, from the "river to the sea"

Why is GUPS , the General Union of Palestinian Students at taxpayer supported San Francisco State University openly promoting this terrorist organization on their Facebook page?

Female fighters of terrorist group Palestinian Front for Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) in Gaza‬ celebrate the completion of their military training course.  Remember this when they show you the  "civilian" casualties figures from Gaza

These women will be following in the footsteps of notorious PFLP terrorist Rasmea Odeh, currently fighting extradition from the United States for failing to disclosure her criminal past on immigration forms

Khalida Jarrar arrested for involvement with Terrorism

You'd never know just who Khalida Jarrar is by glancing at the headlines on anti-Israel agitprop sites or on social media.

To the Electronic Intifada, Khalida Jarrar is a "lawmaker"

To extremist JVP, Khalida Jarrar is a "feminist"

To Michael Letwin, Khalida Jarrar is simply a suffering victim with no back-story, who suffers from an unnamed "chronic illness"

The reality is quite different. Khalida Jarrar is involved with the terrorist PFLP group- Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, the Marxist-Leninist faction of the Palestine Liberation Organization. The PFLP took responsibility for the terror attack on the Jerusalem synagogue last year which killed 5 rabbis

From the Jerusalem Post

In August 2014, the IDF ordered Jarrar to leave her home in Ramallah and move to Jericho. She was told that she would not be permitted to leave the district of Jericho without permission from the IDF commander in the West Bank. Jarrar refused to comply with the order and waged a campaign in protest against the decision to “exile” her to Jericho.

According to the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency), Jarrar is one of the dominant militant forces in the PFLP, and advocates for military resistance against Israel. Jarrar has been involved over the past few months in strengthening the PFLP in the West Bank, the Shin Bet said, including pushing its members to be take part in terror attacks.

The IDF arrested her only after the injunction failed to halt her activities which posed a risk, the Shin Bet said.

Administrative detention, the holding of a person by the state without a trial is lawful under international law. Article 78 of the fourth Geneva Convention states that if a nation “considers it necessary, for imperative reasons of security, to take safety measures concerning protected persons, it may, at the most, subject them to assigned residence or to internment.” Article 4 of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights also allows for administrative detention during times of public emergency that threaten the life of a nation.

Convicted terrorist Rasmea Odeh to stand trial on Nov. 4

Rasmea Odeh, (aka Rasmea Yousef) a member of the PFLP terrorist group complicit in the death of 2 young men is the latest cause célèbre for the anti-Israel cru. A federal judge has scheduled a November 4 trial for the Palestinian community activist, who allegedly concealed her involvement in the terrorist attack when she applied to become a US citizen.

This week, a variety of anti-Israel groups sent out an email blast urging people to:

Call the prosecutors September 2 from 9:00am-5:00pm EDT and tell them: Drop the charges now!

Call Jonathan Tukel at 313-226-9749 (Chief of National Security Unit, U.S. Attorney's office, Eastern District of Michigan) and U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Michigan Barbara McQuade at 313-226-9100 or 313-226-9501 (voicemail).

When you call, say: "Hello, my name is ________, and I am calling from _________ to demand that U.S. Attorney McQuade drop the charges against Rasmea Odeh."

If you are in the Detroit area, please consider joining the US Palestinian Community Network to fill the courthouse. Rasmea's supporters will be gathering at 2:00pm EDT September 2 at the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan (231 W. Lafayette Blvd). The hearing begins at 3:00pm EDT.

Rasmea Odeh has used at least nine aliases since leaving Israel. Now known as Rasmea Yousef, she is the associate director of Chicago's Arab American Action Network. Israel sentenced Odeh to life in prison because of her involvement in a series of terror attacks. She was released after serving only 10 years of her sentence in a prisoner exchange. Odeh immigrated to the United States from Jordan in 1995.

She has never expressed any regret regarding her involvement in the Jerusalem grocery store bombing that took the lives of Eddie Joffe, 21, and his best friend, Leon Kanner.

Via the National Review:

In a 2004 documentary called Women in Struggle, Rasmieh Odeh and a woman named Ayesha Odeh speak openly about their terroristic activities in Israel and appear to lack any regret about the crimes they committed.

Ayesha says that "Rasmieh Odeh was more involved than I was [in the grocery-store bombing]. . . . I only got involved during the preparation of explosives. We wanted to place two bombs to blow up consecutively. I suggested to have the second bomb go off five or six minutes after the first bomb so that those who get killed in it would be members of the army and secret service, but it did not explode. They defused it 20 seconds before it exploded." Rasmieh Odeh describes how time in an Israeli prison deepened her "hatred against those who were responsible. Why? I am not responsible, the occupation is."

According to a FBI press release issued last year

Special agents arrested Rasmieh Yousef Odeh, 66, at a Chicago-area residence after the unsealing of an indictment filed in federal court in Detroit. The indictment charges procurement of citizenship unlawfully. The indictment alleges that Odeh was convicted in Israel for her role in the 1969 bombings of a supermarket and the British Consulate in Jerusalem, which were carried out on behalf of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), a designated terrorist organization.

According to the indictment, Odeh and others placed multiple bombs at the British Consulate and in a supermarket. One of the bombs placed at the supermarket detonated, killing two and injuring others. A bomb placed at the Consulate caused structural damage to the facility. Odeh was sentenced by Israeli military authorities to life imprisonment but was released after 10 years as part of a prisoner exchange, and she then returned to the West Bank.

The indictment alleges that in 1995, she immigrated to the United States and naturalized as a citizen in 2004. In her immigration documents filed in the United States, the indictment alleges, Odeh omitted her arrest, conviction, and imprisonment overseas, which were material facts for the United States government in determining whether to grant her citizenship.

“The United States will never be a safe haven for individuals seeking to distance themselves from their pasts,” said William Hayes, acting special agent in charge for HSI Detroit. “When individuals lie on immigration documents, the system is severely undermined and the security of our nation is put at risk.”

Block the Boat earns the endorsement of the PFLP terror group

The Aug 16 blockade of a Zim cargo ship in the port of Oakland has the endorsement of the PLFP terror group, who write
"The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine praises the direct actions taken by various groups around the world to shut down the operations of the war machine assaulting the Palestinian people, and calls for increasing and escalating these actions everywhere the occupier and its supporters are present.

The Front commended the multiple direct actions around the world targeting Israeli embassies, consulates, institutions and corporations, including the 2-day occupation of an Elbit arms factory outside Birmingham, UK; the blockade of the Israeli embassy in The Hague; the shutdown of El Al’s ticket counter in Athens; popular de-shelving and removal of Israeli products in Ireland; and actions in New York, Chicago, San Francisco and Albuquerque in the United States at Israeli missions and consulates, Bank Leumi, Israel Discount Bank, Boeing, and Lockheed Martin, as well as a upcoming blockade of an Israeli ZIM Ship in Oakland, California."

You are known by the company you keep. How can you  stand in solidarity with a terrorist group, responsible for heinous murders, kidnapping and hijacking throughout the globe?  According to a  recent report by the Shurat HaDin (the Israel law center) the "PFLP is responsible  or numerous suicide bombings, airplane hijackings, and assassinations, including some of the most notorious international terror attacks of the 1970s."

From the report
There is overwhelming evidence that the PFLP is continuing its terrorist activities. In 2001, Israel’s domestic security service, the Shabak (a.k.a. The Israel Security Agency), broke up a series of coordinated PFLP terror cells in Ramallah. The Shabak report states that the network was planning to kidnap an Israeli soldier in order to demand the release of Palestinian terrorists, similar to Hamas’ kidnapping of Gilad Shalit in 2006.

In addition, plans were in place to attack Jewish settlements, bomb the roads around Jerusalem, and murder suspected collaborators. Two similar networks were uncovered in 2012, and a third in May 2013. As recently as January 2014, two PFLP terrorists in Gaza were killed in an Israeli airstrike due to their involvement in firing rockets at Israeli civilians.
Its yet another example of the increasingly unhinged  and shameless hypocrisy of groups like Jewish Voice for Peace and the American Friends Service Committee, who self-righteously provide cover for the forces of evil and of terror.

PFLP terror group raises their flag in San Francisco

The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine is a terrorist group.

According to the Jewish Virtual Library, they are responsible for:
  • The hijacking of an El Al plane (July 23, 1968); 16 prisoners were released.
  • Hijacking of 3 planes belonging to Western countries (September 6, 1970): Three commercial airliners were hijacked and blown up after the passengers were evacuated. An attempt to hijack an Israeli (ElAl) airliner was foiled. Three days later another Western plane was hijacked as well.
  • The assassination of Rehavam Ze'evi (October 17, 2001).
  • A suicide bombing attack at the West Bank village of Karnei Shomrom (February 16, 2002); 3 Israeli civilians murdered, 25 wounded.
  • A suicide bombing attack at a bus station at the Geha junction in Tel Aviv (December 25, 2003); 3 Israelis murdered.
Yesterday,  in our beautiful city by the bay, a PFLP flag was raised at an anti-Israel rally.  Not one of the rally endorsers have condemned or distanced themselves from this blatant gesture of support for terror.
