Read it all hereAllen, 77, was interviewed in France by Israel’s Channel 2 Monday ahead of the release in parts of Europe of his latest movie, “Blue Jasmine,” a comedy-drama starring Cate Blanchett that’s been well-received since its summer opening in the US.Asked whether it’s harder these days to be a Jew in the US, Allen responded with an immediate, “No, I don’t think so.” He added wryly that “by the low standards of tolerance for Jews all over the world, America’s been a very tolerant country.”He went on to say, however, that “I do feel there are many people that disguise their negative feelings toward Jews, disguise it as anti-Israel criticism, political criticism, when in fact what they really mean is that they don’t like Jews.”

Here's a question.
Why should any non-Jew support Israel when western Jews talk about the "West Bank," which erases Jewish history from Jewish land, and the "occupation" which suggests Jewish guilt against the innocent indigenous population?
How in this world can you expect to win the argument when you condemn yourself, and your people, before the conversation has even begun?
Good point, Mike L. The answer to your question is that no non-Jew, or Jew for that matter, should support Israel when it pretends to want a two-state solution, with terms like "West Bank" and "occupation," when it fact it dreams that all Palestinians will move to Jordan, or Egypt, or somewhere else, and leave Jews with the entire land that God gave them 1000s of years ago.
