Meet Elana Auerbach, Candidate for Berkeley City Council

Elana Auerbach is running for Berkeley City council in District 4, in a special election scheduled for May 28.   District 4 covers the downtown business district and central Berkeley. The sudden resignation of Kate Harrison has left the 4th district seat vacant.

Elana Auerbach is a quintessential "How Berkeley can you be?" candidate. 

Elana's commitment to "public service" began with her involvement in the "genital-focused" One Taste sex cult, which has been accused of human trafficking.  Elana and her husband eventually left the cult, but Elana has found an equally dubious way to give her life meaning.

Elana Auerbach is proudly identified anti-Zionist.   One day after  October 7, the single largest loss of Jewish life since the Holocaust, Elana joined local extremist groups to rally in front of  San Francisco's Israeli Consulate, in the time-honored local tradition of gloating over the deaths of innocents

Lest anyone think they are participating in a peace rally, the encampment at Cal Berkeley features a banner promoting "Victory to the resistance".

October 7 gave the world a glimpse of what Palestinian "resistance" looks like.

Who's Elana's good buddy, Rusty Bates?  Rusty's a Berkeley fixture, an unhinged antisemite known for interrupting Berkeley City Council meetings and Jewish community events on and off campus.

Apparently Elana Auerbach's mother never told her that you are known by the company you keep.

So Berkeley voters, its time to mobilize.  That means registering and voting.   Lets work together to keep partisan extremists off the Berkeley City Council, and lets keep the focus on building a better Berkeley.

Just a clip show of recent  lies, omissions and yes, Pallywood, from the usual suspects.

From the Quds News Network, which apparently doesnt have the budget to employ fact-checkers, a beatific smiling woman, with the claim the photo was taken in 1920, and that she is Palestinian.

Missed it by that much.... only 35 years.   The photo was taken in 1955, and is captioned "Jordanian Woman".  In 1955 the Jordanians were in control of the West Bank, and the Palestinians hadn't quite been created yet.

From another ersatz  "news site".   The environmentalists at Days of Palestine are reusing and recycling an old photo, claiming it was a destroyed fishing boat of the coast of Gaza.

Only it wasnt.

Meet Iyad Al Dajani, vile antisemitic troll and director of Reconciliation, Conflict Transformation, and Peacebuilding Studies at the University of Jena

Iyad Doudi is the Facebook name of Iyad Al Dajani, a conspiracy theorist and anti-Israel pundit. Iyad Al Dajani frequently uses slurs  "apartheid"  "terrorist" "racist" "Nazi" " fascist" to describe Israeli policies such as ticketing illegally parked cars.

Iyad Al Dajani isn't above fabricating events to demonize the Jewish state. He has claimed the current bout of rioting on the Temple Mount are the result  of "terrorist Jews"  bringing lamb blood to Al Aqsa.

 

He has declared that the Israelis have elected "racist fascist" people to their Parliment and that they are implementing "Nazi laws" in Israel.   No, he isn't referring to the 17 Arab members of the Knesset.

He refers to the Ukrainian refugees fleeing genocidal atrocities  as "settlers".  (Are the Ukrainians in Poland also "settlers", I can't help but wonder?)

Iyad lies frequently, and is unhinged in his hyperbolic demonization of all things Israeli.

Iyad Al Dajani has blamed Israel after a misfired Hamas rocket took the life of Gaza fisherman.  Yet even Reuters got it right

Iyad has acussed the IDF of being in the real estate business.

What makes Iyad Al Dajani any different from the mass of Internet trolls we see online? Iyad AL Dajani is a professional.

During the holy month of Ramadan,  the Beduoin soldiers of the IDF's Desert Reconnaissance Battalion - 585th Regiment break their fast with an IDF-provided Iftar.

A major terror attack was thwarted in Israel

A major terror attack was thwarted in Israel, leaving 3 terrorists dead, and 4 Israelis hospitalized.

Early Saturday morning, information was received from Shabak regarding a terrorist cell traveling by car from Jenin to Tulkarem, with the intention of committing a large-scale terror attack

At 1:30 am, Israel's Yamam forces located the cell and attempted to carry out arrests.  The terrorists opened fire. Israeli forces returned fire, killing the three terrorists.  Guns and grenades were found in their car.

A will was also found in the car, encouraging the continuation of terror attacks against Israelis.

  The terrorists have since been identified as belonging to Islamic Jihad.

Several hours later, in a joint IDF and Shabak operation troops from the IDF's Duvdevan Unit and Shabak apprehended the last terrorist suspected of being a member of the cell.

Islamic Jihad has vowed revenge for the deaths.
