Palestinian killed by Gaza Rockets

The only person killed by the recent terrorist barrage of over 450 rockets from Gaza was a Palestinian, Mahmoud Abu Asabeh.  Abu Asabeh was a contractor with a permit to work in Israel
and was ultimately killed by his own people, when a rocket from Gaza demolished his Ashkelon apartment.   No senior Fatah or PA officials attended his burial service.

Palestinian casualty of Gaza rockets

Israel's Jewish Agency will pay survivers benefits to Abu Asabeh's family, from its Fund for the Victims of Terror.

We value life.  They exault in death.

When will the war end? When Hamas runs out of rockets.

From the J Post:

The IDF said on Saturday Gaza-based militants had used up or lost about half of their rockets in 12 days of fighting - though the Islamist fighters say they have been replenishing their arsenal.

The Israeli military said Palestinian fighters had fired at least 1,705 rockets out of an estimated stockpile of about 10,000, a depletion of about 17 percent.

"I think that we have hit and destroyed 30 to 40 percent of the rockets," chief military spokesman Brigadier-General Moti Almoz said, referring to an Israeli offensive on Gaza that escalated on Thursday.

Rockets found in Gaza school

Cowardly Hamas has been caught storing rockets in a school in Gaza.

Statement from UNRWA

Agency Demands Full Respect for the Sanctity of Its Premises in Gaza

Yesterday, in the course of the regular inspection of its premises, UNRWA discovered approximately 20 rockets hidden in a vacant school in the Gaza Strip. UNRWA strongly condemns the group or groups responsible for placing the weapons in one of its installations. This is a flagrant violation of the inviolability of its premises under international law. This incident, which is the first of its kind in Gaza, endangered civilians including staff and put at risk UNRWA’s vital mission to assist and protect Palestine refugees in Gaza.

Immediately after discovery, the Agency informed the relevant parties and successfully took all necessary measures for the removal of the objects in order to preserve the safety and security of the school. UNRWA has launched a comprehensive investigation into the circumstances surrounding this incident.

UNRWA has strong, established procedures to maintain the neutrality of all its premises, including a strict no-weapons policy and routine inspections of its installations, to ensure they are only used for humanitarian purposes. UNRWA will uphold and further reinforce its procedures.
Palestinian civilians in Gaza rely on UNRWA to provide humanitarian assistance and shelter. At all times, and especially during escalations of violence, the sanctity and integrity of UN installations must be respected.

Except....

The UNRWA statement  "This incident, which is the first of its kind in Gaza...." isn't entirely true

We haven't forgotten this.

Hamas targets Israel's Nuclear Reactor

Yesterday Hamas launched three long-range M75 rockets targeting Israel's nuclear reactor in the city Dimona. Iron Dome was successful in intercepting one of the  rockets. The other two landed in open areas.

Hamas's terrorist attack against the Dimona  reactor is considered nuclear terrorism by the UN's 2005 International Convention for the Suppression of Acts of Nuclear Terrorism. This unconscionably evil act puts Christians, Muslims and Jews at risk, and threatens the entire region.

From JTA:

Meanwhile, Hamas in videos broadcast on Al Aksa TV threatened to again commit suicide bombings in Israeli cities. It also called on Israel to "count its coffins."

"Zionists, wait and see terror attacks, stabbing everywhere. Wait for suicide attacks on every bus, café and street. Wait for the rage and for revenge for Gaza, wait for the flames of the West Bank, inside you," the videos said.

The videos also warned that Hamas rockets have the "ability to reach places you thought were safe" and that "they will reach you soon."

Gaza rockets kill 3 year old

Islamic terrorists firing rockets from Gaza commit a double war crime - using their own citizens as shields while targeting Israeli civilians. Yesterday, a tragedy occurred when of the rockets fired from Gaza exploded prematurely, killing a 3 year old girl in Gaza and wounded several members of her family. A Palestinian spokesman, Ashraf al-Qedra, said the 3-year-old, Jood al-Danaf died after a"mysterious explosion" hit her home in Beit Lahiya, near the border with Israel. It has been estimated that 30 Palestinians this year have been killed by similar misfired rockets and work accidents involved in their manufacture.

Yesterday, five rockets were launched from Gaza. Two were intercepted by Israel’s Iron Dome missile defense system and two landed within Gaza. (The fifth fell in an open area in Israel’s south.), In response Israel targeted five concealed rocket launchers, a "terror activity site and a weapon manufacturing facility. Gaza news organizations said the sites were connected to Hamas, and Islamic Jihad.
