Holocaust Remembrance Ceremonies in the Bay Area

Yom Hashoah Ve-Hagevurah, "The Day of (Remembrance of) the Holocaust and the Heroism," is marked annually on the 27th day in the month of Nisan, a week after the end of Passover. A variety of public observances will be held in recognition of this occasion throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.

April 14 - The 70th Anniversary of the Liberation of Mira Shelub, Temple Sinai (Oakland)
April 15 - An Evening on the Holocaust and Resistance, Temple Isaiah (Lafayette)
April 15 - Yom HaShoah Ve-Hagevurah, Congregation Beth El (Berkeley)
April 15 - Yom HaShoah Ve-Hagevurah, Congregation Beth Emek (Pleasanton)
