The ever vile Jackson Hinkle has posted a clip of well bathed children with freshly laundered clothes, smiling happily as they pose for the camera, under the caption "There is no water in Gaza."

No Jackson. You are wrong.

Despite propaganda from Hamas and its Western enablers to weaponize access to water resources over 70,000 cubic meters of water is available daily for use in Gaza.

The water supply available to Gazans consistently exceeds humanitarian thresholds.

The Daily Impact:

North & South: 28,000 cubic meters via the Birkat Said & Bani Suheila lines.
Emirati line: 5,000+ cubic meters through the Emirati line.
Deir Al Balah & Southern desalination: 18,000 cubic meters from Southern & Deir Al Balah desalination.
Dozens of local wells are active, providing tens of thousands of additional cubic meters daily.

Liars in Gaza need better memories.

Legless children seems to be a genre in Pallywood. Less often mentioned is their remarkable, one might even say miraculous,  recovery.

Were you expecting recycled Bolivian mummies?  Does anyone ever expect recycled Bolivian mummies?

These two naturally mummified Spanish children are from the 19th century These remains were preserved by the region’s dry, mineral-rich environment, a process that allowed the bodies to remain intact for over 150 years.

If children were actually found under the rubble, why are Palestinians recycling150 year old mummy photos?

Apparently smallpox is rampant in Gaza, "spreading at a terrifying speed".  This is spite of the fact that its been irradicated across the world.  The last reported "wild" case of smallpox in the world was in 1977, according to the CDC.

No, Virginia. Its NOT a Genocide

The shrill cries of " Its a Genocide!!!!" are repeated everywhere- from social media to city council chambers, to the ubiquitous anti-Israel protests.

No, its not.

This is a war.
A war Hamas started. 
A war that Hamas is losing (badly). 
And a war that Hamas can end today, by surrendering and freeing the kidnapped Israeli hostages.

Gaza: Land of 1,230 Mosques. Its people are begining to question why.

Gaza, an area 25 miles long and 8 miles wide has 1,230 mosques, many ornate and extravagant.

The people of Gaza are begining to ask why.

The Al-Khalidi and Salim Abu Muslim mosques in Gaza were built at a cost over  $1 million each.  More lavish mosques will be opening soon.

In improverished Gaza, citizens are begining to question the wisdom of such lavish expenses.

Mohammad al-Khalidi, a citizen from Gaza, poured out his resentment of such luxury mosques. “The Ministry of Endowments claims that the donors funding the construction of the mosques want to spend this much money on them. But why would it [the ministry] not inform the donors that there are other fields in Gaza where the donations could be more useful? Mosques can be built at a reasonable cost and the remainder of the donations could be used to build hospitals, schools or residences, for example.

Al Khalidi questioned these priorities:

“The opening of the Khalil al-Wazir Mosque in the coming months will stir an uproar among Gazans due to the large number of mosques already present in Gaza, in the absence of development projects, hospitals and sewage networks. For example, in the Beit Lahia area in northern Gaza, the Salim Abu Muslim Mosque was built at a cost of $1 million, while a nonregulated landfill in the area is endangering the health of the locals and the environment.”

The construction of these lavish mosques in Gaza is yet another indication of how out of touch the  Hamas leadership is to the needs of its people and how misplaced its priorities have been.

Hamas: Killing its Own in Gaza

Earlier this week, a devastating explosion rocked Gaza, destroying homes and wounding 36 people, including many children. 

The explosion was caused by the accidental detonation of weapons stored in a home in a civilian neighborhood in Gaza.

 
Israel's military Arabic-language spokesman, Avichay Adraee, said on Twitter. “ Homes have been turned into warehouses for weapons... and missiles for terrorist organizations, and those who pay the price in the end are innocent civilians”

This was not the first time weapons earmarked for Israeli civilians have killed their creators.

In 2005, a  Palestinian pickup truck carrying rockets exploded during a Hamas military parade through the densely populated Gaza Strip. According to Palestinian officials at least 19 Palestinians were killed, and  over 80 were injured. The casualties included 5 children. The initial explosion triggered secondary blasts in nearby vehicles that were also carrying rockets and ammunition. 

Hamas and other extremist factions within Gaza have seldom showed any hesitation using their civilians as shields for their weapons, while targetting Israeli civilians.  Its a double war crime that rarely makes the papers.

In a rare moment of candor, even Amnesty International has admitted that Palestinian rocket fire during the 2014  war in Gaza had killed more civilians in the Gaza Strip than in Israel.  Rockets aimed at Israel  had fallen short of their target, and killed at least 13 civilians, 11 of them children, in Gaza.

After the end of the 2014 war, it was calculated that terror factions in  Gaza fired 4,591 projectiles at Israel.  3,659 struck Israeli territory, 735 were intercepted by Iron Dome and another 197 fell within Gaza, terrorizing its inhabitants, who  like the Israelis, are also victims of Hamas terror.

More Gaza Lies and Fauxtography

On Christmas Day, terrorists in Gaza launched 2 rockets into Israel.  Both were intercepted by Iron Dome.  The IDF retaliated by bombing military targets, including a rocket manufacturing site,  underground infrastructure and a military training  post.  The airstrike at the munitions factory triggered secondary explosions at the site, causing damage to other buildings in the area, including factories, a children’s hospital.

Anti-Israel activists sprung into action,  with misleading headlines claiming  "Israeli warplanes bomb Pediatric Hospital in Gaza"

Soon, the lies were being reinforced by fauxtography.   

The editors at "Absolute India" may not have noticed the Hebrew on the rescue workers coveralls.  Oops.

The lies spread quickly, while the truth was looking for its pants...

Interesting enough, the photo (perhaps fauxto is more accurate?)  they used is an Israeli home, damaged last year by a Hamas rocket.

Eco-terrorism from Gaza

At least 11 arson fires have been started this week in southern Israel.  This craven eco-terrorism has destroyed crucial habitats and farmland, risked human and animal lives and squandered precious limited resources.  These fires were deliberately set by terrorists in Gaza, in an act of terrorist intimidation directed towards the civilians of southern Israel.

The eco-terrorist attacks have been widely encouraged by the Arab mass media, and through social media.

There have been no injuries reported within Israel but there has been appreciable damage to  both crops and wildlife. 

Eco-terrorism.  Does anyone really believe that the Palestinians are doing this because of their love for the land?

Hamas: Misplaced priorities during the global pandemic

The world is at a standstill with shelter in place orders interupting all but the most basic routines.  Governments are investing significant resources to test and treat Covid-19 patients. Scientists are studying the virus, looking for points of weakness, and potential vaccines. 

And in Gaza, they are shooting rockets at Israeli civilians, and digging terror tunnels.

On Tuesday, a rocket was fired from Gaza, targetting Israeli civilians in the southland. And today the military wing of Hamas- the al-Qassam Brigades- announced the death of 25-year-old Moamen Ahmed Abu Hajar after a terror tunnel he was working in collapsed.

Why is Hamas spending its money, its time, and its energy on terrorism in middle of a global pandemic?  Why do they continually prioritize taking Jewish lives, rather than saving Palestinian ones?

Gaza Grocery store opens in the Hyper Mall

There was no social distancing in Gaza at this weeks grand opening of a new grocery store in the Hyper mall, the largest mall in Gaza, located in the Nusseirat refugee camp.   Yes, really.

The management initially assured the Gaza public that all precautions were being taken to assure their safety and well being.

Photos were shown on social media of the staff appropriately masked and gloved.

Grand opening day looked very different. Inside the mall, there were local celebrities (actor and comedian Mahmoud Zuaiter) giveaways, and huge shoulder to shoulder crowds.

Yet there was no social distancing.   In view of the coronavirus which has affected over 2,000,000 people worldwide and has left over a hundred thousand dead, this kind of mass gathering is foolhardy and irresponsible.

Its as if the Hamas terror group completely disregarded the health and welfare of the people of Gaza....

In spite of the never-ending hostilities, aid continues to flow into Gaza, from Israel. Just last week, 206 tons of medical supplies and equipment entered Gaza.

Supplies needed to facilitate Gaza's fight against the worldwide coronavirus pandemic, including testing kits, personal protective gear, and sanitizer were also sent.

Gaza  has been sanitizing public areas and shopping centers.

Additionally, Gaza is building a 1000 bed field hospital for quarantined coronavirus patients.

Recognizing that viruses cross borders, Israel and the Palestinian Authority have set up a joint operations room to combat the pandemic.

Rather than applaud the regional cooperation, the usual suspects are taking this as an opportunity to bash Israel. Posting on Twitter, the self-described "journalist, writer, filmmaker" Ben Norton refuses to be inconvenienced by simple reality and instead makes the spurious claim,

"Coronavirus has now reached Gaza, which is under a totally illegal, brutal, medieval-style siege by Israel. Gaza barely has health infrastructure; it has been bombed to pieces by Israel. Every Palestinian death caused by Covid-19 is blood on Israel's hands"

Over 77,000 tons of supplies, in 2547 trucks entered Gaza last week alone.  Positively  "medieval", Ben.

Gaza refuses to practice social distancing

As of today, there are 306,677 confirmed cases of corona virus worldwide.  13,017 have died.  Health care facilities are critically understaffed, with shortages in masks, hand-sanitizer and ventilators in short supply.

And in spite of this,  Gaza has refused to practice social distancing, flaunting their refusal on social media

 

After two Gazans returning from Pakistan tested positive for the coronavirus, the Gaza Health  ministry began to take the pandemic seriously, deciding to close wedding halls, restaurants, cafes and lounges, and to suspend Friday prayers in the Gaza Strip until further notice.  Currently 80 travelers to Gaza are in quarantine.

The world is preparing for the corona virus pandemic, and "open air prison" Gaza is no exception.

Teams of medical students have visited a local grocery store in the strip, distributing information and answering questions.

Widespread disinfecting is taking place

A mini field hospital has been set up close to the Rafah crossing where people entering Gaza from Egypt are checked. Anyone with a fever is tested.  So far, the tests have been negative.

Additionally, Israel has sent 200 kits to identify the Coronavirus to Gaza.  Kamil Abu Rokon, the Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT) declared  "Viruses and diseases have no borders.  COGAT and the Health Ministry will continue their efforts to assist the Palestinian Authority to stop the spread of the coronavirus out of an Israeli interest and humanitarianism"
