Lara Kollab: Cleveland's "Angel of Death"

Lara Kollab's posts on social media were shocking even by today's standards.   The young medical professional had threatened her Jewish patients, tweeting  “hahha ewww.. ill purposely give all the yahood [Jews] the wrong meds…"

Kollab studied at the Tuoro College of Osteopathic Medicine in New York and worked at the Cleveland Clinic as a resident. Over 80,000 Jews make their home in Cleveland.
Lara Kollab likes  "Learning about different cultures"

After Kollab's tweets were exposed by Canary Mission,  a controversial database which tracks white supremacist, neo-Nazi, anti-Semitic and anti-Israel activists, she deactivated her Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram accounts.

It was too late.   They had all been saved.  Kollab's social media accounts were full of anti-Semitic conspiracy theories, Holocaust denial, and garden variety Jew-hate.

The posts went back as far as 2011 and were as recent as 2017.

According to a statement from the Cleveland Clinic:

"This individual was employed as a supervised resident at our hospital from July to September 2018.
She is no longer working at Cleveland Clinic. In no way do these beliefs reflect those of our organization. We fully embrace diversity, inclusion and a culture of safety and respect across our entire health system,”

there is no evidence that she was terminated. no evidence that she was terminated for her online activity. seems a lot of people are jumping to conclusions, and a lot of right wing sites are trying to politicize this.
it is interesting that there is no record of her working after september, and she has to have completed at least 3 years of residency before she can practice anywhere unsupervised.
i think it's strange that touro didnt check her online activity before accepting her. i was under the impression that this was pro forma for most universities today
thing is, there isnt really evidence that she continued her online hate past 2013
but kudos to CM for proving that they do a real service to the community

This suggests something awful going on. It's not just that the prestigious Cleveland Clinic should have vetted her before they hired her, or gotten some competent vetters who understand that a doctor who threatens to kill is not a doctor a patient will trust. It's also sign of decline in the medical profession. How on Earth did this person get a medical license, and why hasn't it been pulled? Did no one check her ethics? She has a long history of vile anti-Semitic tweets, loaded with homicidal ravings and musings, which are there for all to see on Twitter. This wasn't someone who just whispered her anti-Semitism, she broadcast it. This person shouldn't just be fired; she should be de-licensed, and maybe jailed for such vile threats, which not only bring great dishonor to the medical profession, but erode the trust that patients must have in doctors.

Threatening to assault or kill your own patients in carrying out the duties of your job has to be some sort of crime.

These Jew hating idiots just can’t seem to help themselves when it comes to social. It’s like time tested prank they keep walking into over and over again. There’s probably an “internship” available for her with hamas or Isis. they just had something about that Jew hating she-wolf on CNN can you believe she's a muslim who studied at a Jewish medical school!?
