She writes:
The numbers are beyond anything we could have imagined:
Over 150 actions in 101 cities in 30 countries on 6 continents!
The Boycott HP Week of Action was a phenomenal success, with creative actions in Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, India, Japan, Kenya, Malaysia, Peru, Sudan, and across the Middle East, Europe, and North America! In the U.S. alone, there were 40 actions in more than 30 cities across 16 states! It is extraordinary what we can achieve when we build together, and the victories have already begun
Anna ‘s bar for success has always been low.
Aging hippies holding signs! (sometimes even 5 or 6 of them!)
Hashtags!
Petitions!
The momentum is unstoppable...

2016 proves yet again that aging hippies chanting slogans are no match for the innovation and creativity of the Israeli economy. Lets wish Anna and her friends a new year resplendent with even more of her special flavor of "success"
UPDATE:
2016 BDS Fails from StandWithUs
Scarlett Johansson has been in the cross hairs of BDSholes for a while now over her support for Sodastream in addition to this Oxfam bullshit. would it surprise you to know that Johansson is Jewish? anyways, as you can see she seems to be doing just fine professionally speaking it doesn't seem like the BDS movement has hurt Avengers ticket sales any which are always through the rough. on top of that it looks like Texas is likely to be one of the next states to enact anti-BDS laws http://m.jpost.com/#article=6017MjdEMzI2MzVGRTlEMkFBNjlEMUQ1M0U0MDA5MDc2NjA=
ReplyDeleteMore locally, both Oracle and Riverbed have purchased Israel tech companies for rather healthy sums of money this year. yeah hear in the SF Bay Area you still will find those pro-pali bumper stickers on some jalopy owned by a dip shit hippie or idiot "college" student. but you're actually more likely to see a ZIM cargo container being hauled rather it be on 880 between Oakland and San Jose or 580 between Castro Valley and Pleasanton. ya see right there that's the difference between real victories and BDS "victories" that Anna describes as a "phenomenal success". yeah keep up the good work Anna all economic indicators are certainly showing that fiscally Israel is on it's knees.
Then there's this: Students at the University of Michigan, Dearborn (UMD) have lost interest in anti-Israel activism, a faculty member and long-time BDS activist told local independent newspaper Arab American News on Thursday.
ReplyDeleteDavid Skrbina, a professor of philosophy, said he is “puzzled” as to why Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement activity at the school has “fizzled” out, the newspaper reported.
“I would always expect [UMD’s student body] to be a leading charge among the whole US on these kinds of issues,” he said. “But no…[I]t’s kind of a disappointment that we don’t see more action from the students.”

I have seen Anna Baltzer speak twice at UC Irvine. She is truly a dim bulb.
ReplyDeleteShe's a local girl. Anna Baltzer is the pen name of Anna Piller, who was so horrified her family would find out what she did for a living ,that she was afraid to use her real name. Anna is a dim bulb- she was seen in the Ferguson riots carrying her infant daughter (Using the child as a human shield, maybe? Or didn't want to spring for a sitter? Who knows?) Anna also uses her married name, Anna Nardie on occasion.
