BDS fail. Almost one million Palestinians visit Israel in 2012

If the Palestinians don't boycott Israel, why should UC San Diego? Or the Presbyterians? Or anyone?

According to figures by the Israeli Civil Administration, more than 930,000 Palestinians traveled into Israel in 2012

From Israel Defense:

The figures show that tens of thousands of movements were recorded at passageways for the purpose of family visits and traveling in Israel, receiving medical care in Israeli hospitals, commerce and employment for Palestinian workers and merchants in Israel. The highest rise in the number of passing people was recorded during the time of the Ramadan, Eid al-Fitr and Christmas holidays, when more than 242,000 Palestinians entered and left Israel, compared to just 122,300 during last year’s holiday season. This marks a rise of 98.5% in total.

The Civilian Administration worked to upgrade the infrastructure of the passageways, both by expanding the passageways, increasing inspection sections, adding manpower, and stationing measures and infrastructure that greatly assists in improving the provided service.
