Hamas fires dozens of rockets at Israel

From the J Post
Civilian areas in southern Israel were heavily shelled by Palestinian terrorists in Gaza on Saturday morning, when more than 50 mortars were fired at the regional councils of Sha'ar Hanegev, Eshkol and Sdot Hanegev.

Two Israelis sustained light injuries by shrapnel and were transferred to Soroka Hospital in Beersheba. The IDF responded to the barrage of mortars with tank shells and helicopter attacks. Six Palestinians were reportedly injured in the strikes.

Following the attacks, Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman instructed diplomats in New York to lodge a complaint with the United Nations over the mortar barrage.

  1. if only this had happened before the Piers Morgan interview with Bibi last night. it's frustrating how people on the far left end of the political spectrum just don't get it.
you'd think the historical lessons of nevile chamberlain and hitler would have taught them something. that being that there are people in this world that cannot be reasoned with. they either dominate or are dominated in return there is no in between. we seen it with the iranian regime and hamas with their behavior toward the world and their own people. what we're seeing in lbyia with that nut job gadaffy is another glaring example. the far left like lerner, JVP and J street still think that you can sway people people who want to exterminate you with love and kindness. "peace in our time" will only come when crazy fanatics like hamas, gadaffy, iran's regime are destroyed or beaten into submission. and that's exactly what Israel needs to do in response to the Itamar murders, the intercepted arms shipment and now these rocket attacks. and the world be damned! especially the muslim world with what a mess they've made of their own doing. what ever people THINK Israel is doing to the palestinians is at best, no worse then what muslims are doing to each other. we've seen it for centuries and we're seeing it going on right now starting with tunisa.
