This is the Commodore Gaza Hotel in Gaza City. I took one look at this hotel (many members of the Viva Palestina movement stayed here during their last excursion) and what immediately came to my mind was "Its just like the Warsaw ghetto".
Ah, the horror of it all! The inhumanity!
In case you didn't know, the
Commodore Gaza was the first international 5 star hotel established in Gaza to meet the demand of VIP travelers, Businessmen, Economists and other holiday makers.
The Commodore Gaza has a sauna – Jacuzzi – massage –multiple restaurants, 24 hour room service and a luxurious swimming pool.
Just like the Warsaw ghetto.
Doesn't it make one wonder what other photographs HAVEN'T been permitted in the mainstream media? Anyone want to speculate as to whether its anti-Israel bias on the part of the media or Hamas overlords controlling the medias' output through threats, force and intimidation? If their cause is so deserving, then why do they have to lie about facts in order to elicit people's sympathies?

At the Commodore Hotel in Gaza, Hamas men forbade women to wear bathing suits to swim in the pool, even on days designated for women only, on the grounds that there were men peeping at them from beyond the fence surrounding the hotel. Hamas men even shut down a coffee shop where men and women used to sit together (and where, rumor has it, lovers sometimes held hands).

ReplyDeleteHolding hands is a despical Zionist custom, didn't you know that? If that is permitted, in no time those fine obedient female things will want to read, vote, and eat pork. And then the Crusaders WILL HAVE WON!
Oh no!
The Coomodore Gaza has been in the news recentlY:
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately for the lucky 100 who were permitted to enter Hamastan, the diversions didn't end at the Egyptians border. Hamas immediately placed them under siege. The Palestinian champions had planned to enjoy home hospitality from friends in Gaza. But once there they were prohibited from leaving the Hamas-owned Commodore Hotel and from having any contact with local Gazans without a Hamas escort.
...An American woman named Poya Pakzad, cooed on her blog that the Commodore Hotel was "the nicest hotel I've ever stayed at, in my life."
