“Early Celebration of Israel’s 66th Birthday.” Guest speakers, live music and an Israeli-themed luncheon. 9:30 a.m. At Congregation Beth Ami, 4676 Mayette Ave., Santa Rosa. Free.

Sunday/May 4

“Israel in Marin.” Celebrate Israel Independence Day with live music, art, Miller’s East Coast Deli food and a birthday cake. At Osher Marin JCC, 200 N. San Pedro Road, San Rafael. 9:30-2:30 p.m. Free.
Yom Ha’Atzmaut celebration. Celebration of Israel Independence Day with live music, dancing and Israeli food. At Temple Israel of Alameda, 3183 Mecartney Road, Alameda. 11 a.m. Free.

Tuesday/ May 6

“Made in Israel.” Israeli independence celebration with wine tasting, live music, art exhibits and more. At Oshman Family JCC, 3921 Fabian Way, Palo Alto. 4 p.m. Free.
Yom Ha’Atzmaut Community Celebration.” Celebrate Israel’s birthday with live music and dancing, games for children and wine tasting. At Peninsula JCC, 800 Foster City Blvd., Foster City. 4:30 p.m. Free.
Yom Ha’Atzmaut celebration. Two Israeli bands perform; falafel for sale. Sponsored by the S.F.-based Jewish Community Federation. At Justin Herman Plaza, 1 Market St., S.F. 12 p.m. Free.

Wednesday/May 7
